Seriously. I am now convinced that it's all down hill after thirty. With the exception of a few bouts with heartburn during both of my pregnancies, and for some reason every time I drink vodka and cranberry juice together or a certain type of chocolate, which I have yet to narrow down, I have never in my life had heartburn so bad. And it makes me a little sad. :(
It's so random..and man does it sneak up on me. Just when I'm getting all snuggled into bed. And with totally random foods too. And I do not like it at all. And I've been stubborn. I've been eyeballing that purple box in my medicine cabinet for months and have convinced myself that it will pass. That popping a few TUMS will help. But I finally gave in. It was fine when it was once or twice every couple of months...but when's it's once or twice a week and hours and hours of discomfort and lose of sleep..well that's another story. So me and the Prilosec are now the best of friends...but I still haven't broken down yet and bought my own personal box. I'll just keep stealing them from Scott. :)
