For once in my life. Ha!
I helped host a baby shower for an old and dear friend of mine on Saturday. She is having her first baby, a little boy, at the end of next month and I was incharge of the desserts for the shower.
I had a small panic attack on Friday afternoon that there would not be enough dessert for everyone at the shower. (55 people were invited!) So I decided that I would attempt to make these babies below.
Cake Pops...stollen from the website of the one and only Bakerella!
She is way better at this than I, but for my first attempt I think they turned out pretty well...and a note to self...it only takes 1 cake to make about 45 cake pops...wish I would have realized that before I baked two cakes and glad I didn't do all three of them! :)
Found another awesome use for the cooling rack. :)
The little 'baby boy' ribbon is the cutest!!
