This is the perfect ecard for my husband. After months and months of mocking me and wondering what is so appealing about Facebook, I finally convinced him to sign up for an account and the man is now obsessed with the site. Not only has he 'stolen' my 'friends' from me and made them his own, but he thinks it's a competition to see who has the most facebook friends. I've created a Monster! :)
At the same time though we both have enjoyed reconnecting with old friends and distant relatives. A very diverse group of people make up my friend list. Some of those people include:
- My husband, of course!
- My 10th Grade English Teacher.
- The first boy I ever kissed.
- The very first friend I ever had.
- The husband of the woman that started the jewelry company that I sell for.
- All the girls in my book club.
- My High School 'stalker'. No worries though! It's just an inside joke between friends....and a story for another time. :)
- And a couple of 'friends' that I've never really even met IRL..like Sarah, even though we have a couple of mutual Real Life friends as facebook friends...which just goes to show how small the world really is!
My husband has reconnected with a handful of his cousins that he really hasn't seen in a long time, his old babysitter, a few teachers, the brothers of his best friend growing up, old coworkers and a ton of old classmates.
It really is interesting to see how these peoples lives have turned out and it answers alot of those "whatever happened too...." types of questions.

That's pretty funny. We don't Facebook but we are on Myspace. In the beginning when I got him to join, he did the same thing.
